An Integrated Downhole Platform
Next-generation automated rotary steerable systems with patented proportional steering, wireless downhole communications, and an architecture designed from day one for autonomous operations.
Every product in the Kinetic ecosystem is designed to work together, independently, and always with your existing equipment. From automated rotary steering and wireless downhole communications to BHA stabilization and full-service directional drilling, our platform gives drilling engineers the tools they need to drill faster, smoother, and with fewer constraints than any Big 3 alternative.
Patented proportional rotary steerable with industry-leading 17° dogleg capability, 350°F (175°C) rating, and built-in automated steering — no RPM, GPM, or LCM limits.
Wireless downhole communication built on a DrillComm Hub-and-node architecture — universal MWD compatibility, real-time LWD, 200+ ft range, and dual-mode pulse/EM.
Patented stabilization technology that decouples bending moments, dampens vibration, and improves directional control.
Bridges any LWD, MWD, or DDS tool into the DrillComm Network — extending our communication backbone to the full BHA. Customizable for independent use in your MWD system.
Kinetic-trained crews running Kinetic technology end-to-end — with real-time data integration for independent DD providers and their own MWD and steerable motor systems, plus full BHA supply for complete directional services.
Geometric steering today. Geologic autonomy tomorrow. Kinetic is laying the open path to fully autonomous well placement.

Why Kinetic Technology Is Different
Embracing a fundamentally different approach.
The conventional RSS market is dominated by three design families — all built on hydraulic actuation, high-duty-cycle mechanisms, and proprietary service ecosystems.
The Kontour uses ultra low duty cycle electromechanical actuation with internal leverage and fixed external pads. That means true proportional steering, dramatically fewer moving parts, and performance that doesn’t degrade with changes in RPM, flow rate, or mud pressure.
